HMRC Waives Late Penalty Fee

HMRC is again waiving the late penalty fee for self assessment tax returns, for one month to February 2022. This is again due to the implications of Covid-19.

While the penalty fee will be waived, interest will not. Tax payers are therefore encouraged to file their tax returns before 31st January to avoid any interest payments.
